By declaring Finance Minister K Rosaiah's candidature for MLC seat, Chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy has once proved that he always rewards his loyalists. When Rosaiah expressed his inability to contest direct elections, YSR decided to send him to the Legislative Council under MLAs' quota, so that his future would be secure for another six years. Irrespective of whether the Congress comes back to power or not, Rosaiah will enjoy his position. If the Congress wins the elections again, he can continue to be the Minister. And if it does not, he can be the party leader in the Council.So, in any case, Rosaiah will be in advantageous position. And he will continue to be thorn in the flesh of the rival party leaders!
