Here is the undesirable time for Cine Produers. Come March and April, parents get busy with the exam schedule of their beloved children and even children catch their exams fever. They get into KUSTHI competition with books and entertainment takes the back seat. This is the most inefficienct period for films as halls go all empty and collections touch the lowest ebb. This is not the result for bad films, even good films which are worth going house full suddenly get struck with lower collections and feel unsecured in over crossing the Minimum Guarantees.
This is the time Mercury raises for Producers, Distributors and Exhibitors. Result is many of the films feel urgency for a release as Producers thrive for releasing the movies either in February or in end of April and May. This month of February even seems to be dull this year as only 3-4 films of good budget are readying for release. KIKK, SIDDHAM, SATYAMEVA JAYATHE, 16 Days and few small budget films are releasing this month. Wait and see, at least will these movies make it big for Producers.
