The TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu prophesized that the Congress party will be routed in the 2009 polls. He said “the Chief Minister’s days are numbered. His defeat will start from Kadapa.The Congress party will be routed in the 2009 polls.” Chandrababu made this statement while flagging off the Dand Yatra of TDP’s technology wing. The yatra was TDP’s symbolic protest against YSR’s alleged corruption. The TDP leader also criticized YSR Reddy’s stone-laying spree.
He observed that “YSR doesn’t sleep without going on an helicopter ride and laying foundations tomes. These foundation stones will become his epitaph.” He blasted the Congress C M for being mired in corruption.
Referring to the Pranahita Chevella project the TDP leader said it had doubled to a massive outlay of Rs. 39000 crores. The C M said “Dr Reddy has crossed all boundaries in corruption. Despite serious allegations of money laundering and ill-gotten wealth, the C M has launched his own Sakshi TV channel.”
