HYDERABAD: , The government on Wednesday released a sum of Rs. 72 crore to the Information & Public Relations Department towards publicity to be undertaken in Assembly constituencies on its programmes and projects.
The amount was meant for being spent till end of March, according to an order issued in relaxation of Treasury Control & Quarterly Regulation Orders, pending allotment from the 2008-09 supplementary grants.
The publicity will be taken up in all the 294 Assembly constituencies under “Integrated Mobile Publicity in Assembly Constituencies Programme”, it said.
