With Shilpa buying 11 per cent stake in the Rajasthan Royals more glamour has shot into Indian Premier League (IPL).Bollywood beauty and London-based businessman Raj Kundra announced this in a press meet organised at Jaipur on Tuesday, Feb 3.
They have invested $ 16.8 million (Rs 82 crore).
Rajasthan Royals is valued at about $140 million (Rs 683.32 crore). Shilpa called it a strategic business investment and said: "I completely relate to Rajasthan Royals. My story is similar to the team's journey to the top. It is an honour to be a part of Rajasthan Royals."
Rajasthan Royals won the IPL tournament last year.
