Naidu urges Manmohan to act against YSR

Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday urged Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to act against the Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, and others under anti-corruption laws.

In a letter to the Prime Minister, Mr. Naidu alleged that the Chief Minister had misused his position to favour his son and supporters and to settle scores with political adversaries by asking the Police, Revenue and Commercial Taxes Department to ‘harass them.’

He pointed out that though the grand alliance partners had taken up the issue of the Chief Minister’s son violating foreign exchange laws and stock exchange regulations with the respective authorities, no action had been taken so far.
