The prospect of sharing seats with (yet) another member is really irking the existing members in the grand alliance. The entry of MRPS threatens to further strain an already delicate relationship among its member partners. The core pain point will be the sharing of seats. Just how will Chandrababu accommodate seats to MRPS is the question that is uppermost in the minds of all the coalition partners. When CPI (M) state secretary B V Raghavulu was quizzed on the same, he said “Let the issue of seat-sharing among the existing partners be settled first. We can talk of the MRPS later”. Raghavaulu’s anger comes from the fact that Chandrababu is taking unilateral decisions on behalf of the front. He and the CPM members are of the view that the TRS is trying to take advantage of the sizeable Madiga votes in telengana by roping in Mr Krishna Madiga.
