Les Ebdon, vice chancellor of Bedfordshire University presented the honorary doctorate to Shah Rukh in the category of arts and culture.
The superstar name was nominated by Routes to Roots(an NGO that works across the SAARC region to bring South Asian people together, following his outstanding achievements in film industry.
