Kannada film yesteryear actress Shruthi when she was in the market of cine field itself got married to director and producer Mahendran and they got a female child.
After her cine life, the actress who joined B.J.P, couple of years back under gone campaign for the party for the State government election.
She was honored with Chairperson of Women and Child Development Board in BJP government, but later relating the misunderstanding with her husband she applied for divorce from her husband Mahendran in family court.
She was declined from the respective post as the party chief leader’s suspects that a woman who has filed case for divorce should not continue the post for it would affect the growth and name of the particular party.
Following this, she is order to decline from the post yesterday.
Source say that after the filing of her divorce papers, Shruti has finally admitted her relationship with Chandrachud, a former journalist-turned-film director whose first directorial venture is in the post production stage right now, as well. Right now in Tirupati, with Chandrachud only, Shruti accepted that she has decided to marry the director and is seeking the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara, for the same. She also said that the wedding will be conducted only after her divorce petition is accepted by the court.
Shruthi married Mahendar in the year 1998. A renowned film director, he has as many as 20 Kannada films to his credit. Many of his films have also starred her actress-wife, including the hit 'Karpoorada Gombe' and the award-winning 'Gowdaru'. Right Shruti, she is seeking divorce from him. According to her, taking the divorce was the most painful decision of her life, as she was trying to save the marriage for the past eight years.
