Tamil Arundhati Declared Super Hit!!!

Finally, the much awaited and expected thing has happened again. The highly talked and hype created film ‘Arundhati’ that became a major blockbuster in Telugu has now got released into Tamil with the same title and reports have been flowing at the overwhelming response the movie has been receiving from all corners of Tamilnadu.
Many say that the charming presence of Anushka in a gracious role as ‘Jekkamma’ and the scary and spine chilling role of Sonu Sood as the cursed evil spirit has done the magic.

Apart from that, the highly sophisticated and visually marvelous graphics have created a revolution. Right now, the dialogue that has been reverberating throughout the Tamil folk is ‘Vidamaatta Bommayi Vidamaattaa’.

I don't think Shah Rukh ever was 'King Khan': Aamir Khan

Keeping up his swipes at superstar Shah Rukh Khan and the No.1 slot in Bollywood, Aamir Khan, riding on the super success of his revenge drama Ghajini, has said he never thought Shah Rukh was ever on the top pedestal at all.

He also said Oscar-winning Slumdog Millionaire failed to "touch" him.

Aamir, during CNN's special edition of Talk Asia, was asked how he feels about being termed the new 'King Khan' after the success of Ghajini. He replied: "I had absolutely no intention of kicking Shah Rukh off his pedestal. Though I have to say, I don't think he ever was on it."

“Shobhana has already done a dance play called Maya Ravana and Mani thought her inputs would help. She was not officially asked to choreograph Ash’s dances, it’s just that she thought her suggestions would help Ash and thus decided to offer assistance.” Ash, we hear, is making most use of this ‘help’. Talk about chance pe dance, eh?

‘DDLJ’ completes continuous run of 700 weeks

Amitabh avoids Rekha

It seems the alleged affair between Big B and Rekha will never stop haunting them, and there was evidence of this at the recent Filmfare awards.

The scene: the front row of the auditorium where all the A-list Bollywood stars were sitting. From the left, it was Priyanka Chopra, SRK, Abhishek, Aishwarya and then Big B himself.

Rekha appeared on the scene, and as is her custom, went on to meet everyone. She hugged and kissed each and every one of the stars sitting in the front row, including Abhishek.

She then went on to hug Ash, and all of a sudden, Big B, who was next in line, got up and walked away. This may have been a smart, though ultimately transparent, move, because propriety would have demanded that she acknowledge him.

Pictures from the event reveal that while Big B walked away just in time to avoid an incredibly awkward situation, he was intently watching Rekha in the minutes preceeding his abrupt walk-out.

Abhishek Bachchan enters Guinness Book

Actor Abhishek Bachchan had a tiring day on Sunday, but one that has seen him make a world record. He has made a new record of maximum public appearances in different cities.

Abhishek Bachchan's marathon seven-city promotional tour for the movie Delhi-6 kept the security staff busy in managing his fans and led to some moviegoers missing their films but the actor exuded confidence in getting his name listed in the record books.

As the actor rushed from one city to another in his attempt to get the feedback of audiences in different cinema halls, his fans were there all the time. "It is really exciting to get first hand response about your movie.

The cinema halls were running packed wherever I went," the junior Bachchan told reporters. His target cities are Ghaziabad, Noida, Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Chandigarh and Mumbai.

The actor reached a Noida cinema 10 minutes before schedule only to see a over 500-strong crowd gathering around the hall, literally threatening to disrupt the event. Though Bachchan had initially planned to interact with the audience, he had to rush out within 10 minutes.

Many of the moviegoers were also caught in the crowd and missed their show as the tight security made their entry difficult.

Big B visits King Khan

King Khan has been discharged from the Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai a couple of days back and is presently resting at Mannat. One of the first few visitors to enquire about his well being was none other than the Big B himself.

Reports suggest that Big B had planned to visit King Khan at the hospital but since the actor was discharged earlier than planned Big B called on his house at Mannat. King Khan will be taking a couple of months break from his shoots. Reports also suggest that Big B has advised King Khan to take the post-operative care seriously.

Big B truly has a big heart. Though much seems to be written about the Bachchans and the Khan having a cold war this incident puts all those rumors to rest.Once this Khan is back in action he has a whirl wind of activities including shooting for Karan Johar's 'My Name is Khan' and cheering his Kolkata Knight Riders team because the IPL starts in April.
