CORRECT FORM:
This exercise is done in 2 ways-using dumbbell and EZ-bar.Here we show you how to perform with a dumbbell.
- Sit on a bench and grab a dumbbell.Make a triangle with your hands,so that your palms are facing the underside of the plate of a dumbbell.Take the dumbbell up over your head.
- Keep your elbows glued to the ears.The elbows should be pointing forward,not sideways.This is the starting position.
- Bring the dumbbell down towards the rear of your neck,then bring it back to the starting position,squeezing your triceps at the top.
- Keep your abs tight as this will help to maintain stability,as the dumbbell is trying to pull you down backwards.
- Remember-your shoulders should always point forward.Do not move your elbows.
