The Praja Rajyam president, Chiranjeevi petitioned the Governor, Mr N.D.Tiwari, on Sunday to order a probe by a sitting judge of the Supreme Court to look into the investments in Jagathi Publication Ltd., owned by Mr Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, son of the Chief Minister Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy, and into the scam in Heritage Foods, a firm which is partly owned by the TD chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu.Besides this, the PR chief wanted to include Satyam scandal and various projects awarded by the state government to Maytas included in the probe.He also appealed to the Governor to take all necessary steps to prosecute the Chief Minister, for allegedly abusing his position to amass wealth and resorting to nepotism.Soon after meeting, the PR chief addressed mediapersons and launched a scathing attack on both the Chief Minister and the TD chief.
He alleged that neither the Chief Minister nor the Opposition leader had a clean record as far as their enormous wealth is concerned.
